Mantanani Island 2D1N

2Days 1Night MANTANANI ISLAND


Mantanani Islands are group of three isolated island located northwest of Kota Belud which is also known as “Mermaid Island”. It is about 1 hour and 30 minutes of drive from the state of Sabah, Kota Kinabalu.  These islands are approximately 45 minutes boat ride by speedboat from the mainland Kuala Abai Jetty.  The island, shaped like knife, has a beach that stretches up to 2.5000 meters.  
The island promises that most diverse marine life with visibility up to 40 meters.  Many species of rays flutter around like blue spotted ray and marbled sting ray amongst large schools of fish.  Mantanani Island also the only place to spot the Mantanani Scops Owls.  Also good for seeing other birds that usually nest on the island because of the relatively lack of natural terrestrial predators.

Day 1
Tourists will be pick-up from their hotel/resort in the morning and transferred to Kuala Abai Jetty at Kota Belud. The boat will depart around 9.30am and expected to arrive on the island at 10.15am.. 
After arrived on the island, there might be a brief introduction. Then, let your journey start on discovering the marine life (snorkeling/ Discover Scuba Diving/ Leisure Dive).
You must be hungry right? Don't worry, we've prepared BBQ lunch at the island for you to fill-up your empty stomach ;) then, you'll check-in to your room.
Around 3.00pm, you'll be continuing your discovery of Mantanani Island's marine life (snorkeling/ Discover Scuba Diving/ Leisure Dive). 
Dinner will be served around 7.00pm and you'll have your free time onward.


Day 2
Breakfast will be served at 7.00am then you can enjoy your free time on the islands, if you're lucky maybe you might spot the Mantanani Scops Owl. At noon, lunch will be prepared.
You'll be transfer back to Kuala Abai Jetty around 3.15pm, make sure you've packed all your stuff and don't miss the boat. Time approximately to arrive at Kota Belud Jetty is at 4.00pm then you'll be transfer back to your hotel at Kota Kinabalu.

Things you need to bring
Extra clothes ,Towels,  Sunglasses, Sun-block Lotion, Swimwear
