TUARAN DAY RIDE

TUARAN DAY RIDE

The area around the market town of Tuaran is home of the Dusun tribe, spread out in the hills and coastal plains making use of the natural environment for sustenance. Farming rice, rubber, fruits & coconuts. Hunting in the forests and fishing, they are friendly and resourceful.
Our day ride takes us through the heartland of the Dusun people, small riverside villages, jungle plantations and onto a coastal plain where we will stop for lunch in Tuaran town close to he Chinese Pagoda. A short 20 minute ride takes us back to the start of the ride, nice and flat all the way! 40% of this ride is on dirt roads and sometimes they are quite rough, for the rest of the ride we travel on small village roads with very little traffic. There are three hanging bridges to add to the days excitement.
A support vehicle is nearby at all times.
