PAPAR WHITE WATER RAFTING 

GRADE 2-3

Papar is located in the southern part of Kota Kinabalu, which is also an undeveloped residence for traditional ethnic Dusun.  Papar River is a nice place to experience the Grade II – III rafting especially for those who loved water sports.

After gathering at lobby in the morning, tour guide will pickup you and start the trip. You can enjoy the impressive scenery of traditional Malay village along the way. After travelling for about 40 minutes, we will reach the base camp, the place where we will have our lunch here afterward. You can prepare clothing and takes photos in the meantime, then a shuttle bus will fetch all challengers to the starting point of Papar River.

Before the rafting commence, we will go through a stone massage (roughness of hilly road) before reaching the starting point. Rafting starts right after the briefing of raft master regarding the safety procedure and how to use the facilities.

The raft master will take a break in the midway after rafting for about 40 minutes. Before continue the remaining trip, you can jump into the river to swim, or take a seat at the shore to enjoy the scenery of river bank. After rafting for 20 minutes we will reach to the ending point. Thus, the challenge of Papar River of length 13km in total has been completed.

ITINERARY

   09:00       Pick up from hotel, proceed to Papar for your rafting adventure.

   10:00       Arrived at base camp at Papar river, change your cloth, enjoy the scenery and photo-taking.

   10:30       Depart for rafting start point, journey takes about 20 mins ride.

   10:50       Rafting begins with a safety briefing session conducted by professional raft guide that will demonstrates rafting techniques and proper handling of rafting equipment before rafting commences.

   11:40       Take a rest at riverbank.

   12:00       Continue second stage of rafting. 

   12:30       Reach basecamp, the ending point of rafting.

   13:00       Change your cloth and lunch is served.

   14:00       Depart for Kota Kinabalu city.

 15:00       Reach city and transfer back to hotel.
